A+ After School Care

'26–'27 Registration Process:

Registration is officially open! Please use the attached documents to begin the process. Note that we are not accepting electronic applications at this time.

How to Apply:

  1. Complete the Forms: Fill out the Registration Form and Emergency Forms entirely.
  2. Print & Submit: All forms must be printed & hand-delivered to your child’s group leader.
  3. Deadline: All completed paperwork must be submitted by July 6, 2026.
Important: Please double-check that every field is filled out. Incomplete applications will be excluded from the enrollment lottery.
 
Enrollment & Lottery System:
Due to current staffing constraints, we are utilizing a lottery system to determine enrollment:
  • Capacity: The first 120 names drawn will be accepted.
  • Waitlist: All remaining applicants will be placed on a waitlist.
  • Program Expansion: As new staff members clear the fingerprinting & verification process, we will accept additional students from the waitlist.
  • Drawing Date: The lottery will be conducted soon after the July 6th deadline, allowing families time to seek alternative childcare if necessary.
 

Eligibility Requirements:

To qualify for the A+ program, parents, guardians or foster parents must be engaged in one of the following during program hours:

  • Employment: Verification of work hours is required.
  • Education: A copy of your current school schedule is required.
  • Self-Employment: You must provide:
    • A copy of your General Excise License.
    • A copy of Schedule C from your 2025 tax return.
 
 Important Reminders:
  • Monthly Fee: The fee for the '26–'27 school year is $240 per month.
  • Phone Numbers: If you do not have a landline, please enter your cell phone number in the "Home Phone" field.
  • Identity PIN: On the emergency form, the "Identity PIN" refers to your Driver’s License number.
  • Signatures: Please note that all signatures and initials must be hand written; digital signatures will not be accepted.

Students enrolled in the A+ after-school program experience a fun-filled and stimulating extension of their school day. Manoa Elementary School's program balances students' time between free play, homework, and structured activities.
 
Daily Schedule
2:15 - dismissal from school/report to A+
2:30 - snack and outdoor free play
3:15 - uninterrupted homework
3:45 - additional homework time/outdoor free play
4:15 - activity
5:30 - end of program
