Welcome to another semester of our after-school program called the Cub Clubs (Create, Learn, Understand, Build and Socialize)!
Kindergarten students will be picked up at their classroom and walked to their Cub Club class.

Gears are turning, motors are revving, and imaginations are taking off! In this hands-on engineering lab, students will explore the exciting world of physics, mechanics, architecture and design using thousands of LEGO® bricks and specialized components. From motorized ziplines and battle-ready Pokémon walkers to towering skyscrapers and speeding gear cars, each project is a creative STEM challenge that turns play into purpose. Working collaboratively in a fun, supportive environment, young builders will sharpen their problem-solving skills, experiment boldly, and bring big ideas to life. Whether they’re new to LEGO engineering or returning for more, students will be guided by an experienced instructor to build smarter, stronger, and more creatively than ever before. Each semester of classes features brand-new projects, and all materials are provided. This class is presented by Wrenn Okada Photography & Design. Only 18 spots available!

Pokémon Masters Card League (Gr. 2-5) at Manoa Elementary
Calling all Pokémon Trainers, collectors, and fanatics—your next evolution begins here! In this action-packed course, students will dive deep into the official Pokémon Trading Card Game. They’ll learn gameplay rules, develop winning strategies, and build a custom deck to battle classmates and compete for powerful cards and exclusive prizes. But it doesn’t stop there—trainers will also boost their design skills by illustrating their favorite Pokémon to create a custom laser-engraved metal coin, a one-of-a-kind addition to their personal collection. Throughout the course, students will break open booster packs, chase rare cards, trade with classmates and learn beginner-friendly investment tips to turn their hobby into a potential goldmine. Every participant will receive their own starter deck, bonus cards, and their custom coin to take home. New decks, coins, packs, and prize cards featured each semester—so returning trainers always have something fresh to catch. This program is presented by Wrenn Okada Photography + Design. Q Golf School (Gr K-5)

Q School LLC offers golf lessons to the children of Manoa Elementary on site with all equipment provided. Lessons focus on basic athletic skills and coordination, as well as the fundamental golfing skills of putting, chipping, pitching and full swings. Students learn about rules, etiquette and math while participating in a variety of games designed to encourage sound golf skills, introduce practice techniques, friendly competition and fun!

Rainbow Art Studio (Gr K-5)
Getting an early start in arts can make a meaningful difference in the lives of children. With encouragement and guidance, we offer hands-on classes for students of all grade levels. Each semester, we create a fun and educational program designed to inspire every child to reach their creative potential. Our curriculum includes a variety of subjects. Through these lessons, students will learn the fundamentals of art while experimenting with different mediums–including watercolor, acrylic painting, and pastels–and discovering the techniques of great artists throughout history. Each student will take home their own painted canvas plus many other projects.

Designed and created by teachers, architects and engineering professionals, the Future Engineers After School curriculum by BRICKS 4 KIDZ® introduces kids to S.T.E.M. concepts (science, technology, engineering/architecture/physics, and math) using LEGO® bricks! Kids will develop skills like critical thinking, collaboration, innovation, communication and much more! They will build a different model each week.

Girl Scouts is starting an after-school troop that provides a structured, girl-led environment for girls to learn new skills, build confidence, and develop leadership qualities through engaging activities and community involvement. ● An island-wide "Battle of the Dojos" tournament held by JIKC to promote competitive spirit and self-confidence
