Ulu Kukui Summer Enrichment Program 2026 (MANOA STUDENTS ONLY)
FREE Summer School
We will be offering 2 summer programs, one for students entering Kindergarten (Summer Bridge Program) and one for students who will be entering grades 1-5 next school year (Summer School).
Summer Kindergarten Bridge Program (students must be registered for Kindergarten Fall 2026)
Dates: June 8 - June 26 (3 weeks)
Our Kindergarten Summer Bridge Program is a fun three-week, in person program designed to prepare incoming students for their first day of kindergarten at Mānoa Elementary. Children will develop early literacy and math skills, learn classroom routines, and boost their confidence through engaging, play-based activities, setting them up for a successful year.
Summer School Program (students who will be entering grades 1-5 Fall 2026)
Dates: June 8 - July 3 (4 Weeks)
Our Grades 1–5 Summer Program uses hands-on project based learning to bring grade-level standards to life through exciting enrichment challenges. With the intention to foster a growth mindset, teaching students to embrace mistakes and persist through "productive struggle" as they solve real-world problems. It’s more than a review—it’s a chance for students to build the academic confidence and resilience needed to hit the ground running this fall.
Both programs will be an in person program limited to 15-22 students per class, from 8:00 AM -12:00 PM daily. Classes may also go on teacher planned field trips to enhance their summer learning experience.
**Additional fees will be collected for field trips and activities (bus and admission)**
Early Morning Care
We are also offering early morning care from 6:45-7:45 AM. Breakfast will not be provided, however you may pack one for your child.

Information will be sent out to interested families on Thursday, March 26
Registration for ALL afternoon programs will open on Friday, March 27 @ 8:30 AM
Registration
Registration for Summer will be open on Thursday, March 12 @ 4:00 PM for Manoa Students Only
and will close when classes have been filled. Registration must be completed online. Please be sure to turn in the following to complete your child’s registration:

- Print & Complete emergency form (attached below or you can get one a hard copy from the office
Your child’s application Will NOT be processed unless all items are completed and turned in. Once your registration has been processed you will be notified via email, confirming your child’s enrollment and additional information. Space is limited and enrollment will be granted on a first-come first served basis. Should a class fill, students will be placed on a wait list.
Registration
Registration will be on a first come first serve basis and students will only be enrolled once registration has been complete. Should a program fill your child can be placed on the waitlist in the event space should open up. Confirmation emails will be sent out during the first week of April.

2. Download, print, & complete the emergency form (one for each child).
3. To complete registration turn in the following to the school office
